Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Joannes Špalj Spal aged 80 died Senj 1820
Death, 1820, Senj — JOANNES ŠPALJ [«SPAL»], WITH THE SACRAMENTS, AGED ABOUT 80 [BORN ABOUT 1740], DIED AT SENJ IN 1820 — a line of the Senj death register (Protocollum mortuorum 1820–1848); the first word after his name («Vidua»?) is not firm.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

Spal. S. provisus annorum circiter — [80]». One of the abbreviated one-line death entries of 1820 (the first page of the S section, page 95 of the Senj death register, Protocollum mortuorum 1820–1848): date, «obiit», the name, the sacraments, the age; the age in the right margin reads «80». Read at full page scale (about 1x); the first word after the name is not firm («Vidua» would make the name a woman's, but the register gives no surname to a widow in this period only in the form «Vidua» before the name). Špalj is a listed surname; the spelling here is «Spal» (snapshotted; read at about 6x). See notes/senj-marriage-volume-walk.md
