Connected to this family only through a sorting label
Every route from Hedviga to this person passes through a sorting label — a working note sitting where an ancestor should be. This is not a claim that the person is invented; the register entries behind them are real. It is a statement about the join. Why this matters →
Died before she was born

| The record says | Not reconciled |
Six months backwards. The likeliest reading is that the two dates belong to two different children of the same name — a dead infant and the sibling named after her — which the name-reuse analysis found repeatedly in these families. That is a guess, and it is recorded as one. Read it →
Died six months before she was born
| The tree says | Antonia Sestan, born 11 February 1847, died 4 August 1846 |

| The record says | The death belongs to her sister, not to her |
ANTONIUS SESTAN and JOANNA DEFRANCESCHI had TWO daughters called Antonia. The elder, @I509448@, was born 16 July 1845 and carries a death tag WITH NO DATE. The younger, @I509450@, was born 11 February 1847 and carries a death of 4 August 1846. Read together they resolve: the elder Antonia died on 4 August 1846 aged twelve months, and the younger was born six months later and named for her. That is the commonest shape in these registers — a child who died replaced by a later child of the same name — and this archive has met it repeatedly. The date has been attached to the wrong sister. NOT PROVED: the parish register settles it and has not been opened. Left as an open disagreement rather than repaired, because the archive does not edit the tree and does not guess which field is wrong. Read it →

Family
The mark describes the person, not the link. Of the 11 relatives drawn here, 0 have a document of their own in this archive — but that is not the same as a document tying them to this person. This archive holds no separate proof for most parent–child links; where it does, the note above this chart says so in words.

this archive has shown something recorded about them to be wrong.

Where this sits in the family
Not on the direct line. They are published because they belong to one of the eight surnames this archive follows.
The register spells this surname more than one way, and the search folds the forms together — so Xubrinich and Žubrinić, Joannis and Ivan, find each other.

Sources attached in the tree
None. This person carries no source string at all in the tree. They may still be right — but nothing here can be checked without going to the register. Method →
An online family tree is a witness, not a source. Where a citation points at a parish register or a FamilySearch image, that is the thing worth going to. Sources →
Others of the same name
These parishes repeat their names relentlessly — 94 Marijas and 88 Ivans in this archive alone. These are different people, kept apart on purpose rather than merged into one. Merging on a name is exactly how this tree came to hold a man born after his own granddaughter.
