What this page holds

The archive publishes 4 people of the name Luckinić, the earliest born in 1725. 3 of them are direct ancestors of Hedviga, at ahnentafel 105, 210, 211. A further 3 are read out of a parish register and not in the family tree at all; they are listed with the rest, marked parish register. Counts are of people who have died; anyone living is named on their own page and is not counted here. Every statement on this page is read off the archive’s own data, and the page adds no claim of its own.

What the registers say

5 readings attached to 4 of the people above, each in the citation’s own words, oldest first; an entry that names two of them is one reading. A reading marked named on is a register naming the person on somebody else’s entry, which is not the same as a register being about them.

1725 baptismindex only Mare Luckinić, Maria Luckinić, Vicentius (Vicko) Luckinić Karlobag, 13 April 1725 — INDEX ONLY, «Mare Luckinicha», father «Vicka Luckinicha», no mother named; ark 1:1:QKMX-Y4TT. She was in found.psv as a CANDIDATE sister of ahnentafel 105 from 20 September until 21 September, when publishing blood rather than surnames put her own tree record on the site — born 13 April 1725 to Vicentius Luckinić and Maria, the same day and the same father. The candidate and the person were always the same woman; the archive simply could not see one of them
1747 marriage Catherina (Catta) Luckinić the bride of the same entry, «Katta, heer pokoin[og] Vicha Luckinicha» - daughter of the late Vicko Luckinich
1747 marriage-of-child Vicentius (Vicko) Luckinić named as the bride's late father («pokojnog Vicha Luckinicha»): dead by 22 November 1747
1768 named-on-a-child-baptismindex only Catherina (Catta) Luckinić Karlobag, 11 March 1768 — INDEX ONLY, «Josephum Piberich», father «Jacobi Piberich», mother «Catharina»; ark 1:1:QKMX-YX3G. «Piberich» is the index's misreading and occurs nowhere else at Karlobag; the same couple are «Pillopich» in 1758 and «Pillepich» in 1762 and 1765Named on Josephus (Josip) Pilipic’s entry rather than their own.
1790 death Catherina (Catta) Luckinić Karlobag Umrli 1774-1804 folio 63 (right page of image 388) — «29 ejusdem [Maij] · Catharina annorum 70, vidua defti Jacobi [P]ilepich, obiit in Domino munita omnibus sacramentis, atque die 30 sepulta est». The tree's date to the day; the AGE DISAGREES — 70 in May 1790 puts her birth about 1720 where the tree says 30 Mar 1727. She is not in the KAZALO's L at all: a widow is indexed under her husband's surname; ark 3:1:3QS7-L99C-G3QY

Everyone of the name

All 7 people this archive holds of the name, oldest first, in the shape the front page uses — the couple in two columns with a birthplace beside each name, the children beneath them, brothers and sisters under whichever of the two they belong to. Oldest first, which is the only order a family has, and everything is shut until you open it. The rows marked parish register are people read off a page that the family tree has never had; they are not less proved, they are just not typed in.

GODMOTHER at a Karlobag baptism, WIFE OF VICKO LUCKINICH - the name of the mother of ahnentafel 105's family, not proved.

Karlobag births 1691-1770 (DGS 5481648, waypoint 9RK1-3Y9) image 49 right-hand page, the entry Na 24 Augusta 1727 Ja Pop Andrij Kollekar krstih sina Antona … a kuma [gospoja] xena Vicka Luckinicha imenom Morica. READ FROM THE IMAGE 9 October 2026. Vicko (Vicentius) Luckinich is the father in the 1725 baptism of Mare Luckinicha (index only, 13 April 1725), and the tree names ahnentafel 105's father Vicentius; the register here names HIS WIFE as Morica (a form of Marija, as read). That puts a Luckinich couple, Vicko and Morica, at Karlobag in August 1727, five months after the tree's date for ahnentafel 105; it does NOT show that they are her parents, and her own baptism was not found (see worklist row 26).

GODMOTHER at a Karlobag baptism, WIFE OF VICKO LUCKINICH - the same woman as the Morica of 1727 or an earlier wife; not proved.

Karlobag births 1691-1770 (DGS 5481648, waypoint 9RK1-3Y9) image 48 left-hand page, the entry Na 10 Marca 1726 … krstih sina Simuna … bi kum Stipam Mili[ć]ich à kuma Mara Vicha Luchinicha. READ FROM THE IMAGE 10 October 2026. The wife of Vicko Luckinich is called MARA here and MORICA on 24 August 1727; both are ordinary forms of Marija and nothing in the book says whether it is one woman. The page also names a Vicko Luckinich as GODFATHER on 21 December 1725 (image 47 right-hand page, bi kum Vicko Luckinich, the surname read at the page's own size)

GODMOTHER at TWO Karlobag baptisms, WIFE OF A VICKO LUCKINICH - the first wife this archive can name for him, before the Mara (1726) and Morica (1727) of the later pages.

Karlobag births 1691-1770 (DGS 5481648, waypoint 9RK1-3Y9). (1) image 31 left page, third entry, clearly read: Na 23 Januara 1718 Ja Pop Anton Hvelyanovich krstih kher Pere Desi[?] imenom Anica koy bi kum Vicko Luckinich a kuma nyegova xena Jelena. (2) image 40 right page, first entry: Na 11 Augusta 1722 … krstih sina Jure Ohuchnicha imenom Martina komu bi kum Jurko Rozanich a kuma Jele[?] … xena Vicka Lukinicha, the godmother's name broken at a line end and read as Jele, less certain. READ FROM THE IMAGES 10 October 2026. So a Vicko Luckinich has a wife Jelena in 1718 and (probably) 1722, and a wife Mara in March 1726 and Morica in August 1727: one marriage and a second one, or one woman named loosely; nothing in these pages says which, and none of the entries is a baptism of a child of theirs. The Mikola of 9 December 1719 is the only child entered to a Vicko Luckinich in the pages read, with no mother named
