Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Jelena, wife of Vicko Luckinich
Named as godmother, 23 January 1718 and 11 August 1722, Karlobag — GODMOTHER at TWO Karlobag baptisms, WIFE OF A VICKO LUCKINICH - the first wife this archive can name for him, before the Mara (1726) and Morica (1727) of the later pages.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

What the register says
- Event
- named as godmother
- Date
- 23 January 1718 and 11 August 1722
- Place
- Karlobag
- Citation
- Karlobag births 1691-1770 (DGS 5481648, waypoint 9RK1-3Y9). (1) image 31 left page, third entry, clearly read: «Na 23 Januara 1718 Ja Pop Anton Hvelyanovich krstih kher Pere Desi[?] imenom Anica koy bi kum Vicko Luckinich a kuma nyegova xena Jelena». (2) image 40 right page, first entry: «Na 11 Augusta 1722 … krstih sina Jure Ohuchnicha imenom Martina komu bi kum Jurko Rozanich a kuma Jele[?] … xena Vicka Lukinicha», the godmother's name broken at a line end and read as Jele, less certain. READ FROM THE IMAGES 10 October 2026. So a Vicko Luckinich has a wife Jelena in 1718 and (probably) 1722, and a wife Mara in March 1726 and Morica in August 1727: one marriage and a second one, or one woman named loosely; nothing in these pages says which, and none of the entries is a baptism of a child of theirs. The Mikola of 9 December 1719 is the only child entered to a Vicko Luckinich in the pages read, with no mother named
