The record saysKarlobag baptisms, image 47 left page: «Na 13 Aprilya 1725 … Vicka Luckinicha, nyegove xene mare imenom Anu» — father Vicko Luckinić, wife Mare, child Anu (Ana)

The FamilySearch index and the tree agree on 13 April 1725, on the father and on the surname, and call the child Mare. The page, read at about 4x on 10 October 2026, follows the book's usual pattern — the father, «nyegove xene» and the mother's name, then «imenom» and the child's name — and by it Mare is the WIFE and the child is Ana. The right-hand ends of the first lines are lost in the gutter, so this is a reading and not a certainty, and the index may have read the mother's name as the child's. If it is right, the tree has a daughter Mare who may not exist and misses a daughter Ana. Not changed in the tree: a second reading of the page (or the parish's own copy) would settle it. Read it →

The mark describes the person, not the link. Of the 3 relatives drawn here, 3 have a document of their own in this archive — but that is not the same as a document tying them to this person. This archive holds no separate proof for most parent–child links; where it does, the note above this chart says so in words.

Where this sits in the family

Not on the direct line. They are published because they belong to one of the eight surnames this archive follows.

The register spells this surname more than one way, and the search folds the forms together — so Xubrinich and Žubrinić, Joannis and Ivan, find each other.

None. This person carries no source string at all in the tree. They may still be right — but nothing here can be checked without going to the register. Method →

An online family tree is a witness, not a source. Where a citation points at a parish register or a FamilySearch image, that is the thing worth going to. Sources →
