Connected to this family only through a sorting label
Every route from Hedviga to this person passes through a sorting label — a working note sitting where an ancestor should be. This is not a claim that the person is invented; the register entries behind them are real. It is a statement about the join. Why this matters →
Death date

| The record says | Death notice: December 17 at his residence, 143 Main road, Solomontown, aged 68; a later in-memoriam by his daughters: December 19, 1953 |
The Recorder (Port Pirie), 18 December 1953, p. 6: «ZUBRINICH — On December 17 at his residence, 143 Main road, Solomontown, John William, beloved husband of Catherine Zubrinich, loving father of Jack, Len, Morrie, and Terence. Aged 68.» The Recorder of 23 December 1955, p. 12, carries an in-memoriam «for our dear father, Jack, who passed away on December 19, 1953». Three different days for one death: the tree's 16th, the notice's 17th, the daughters' 19th. The age fits the tree's birth of 5 March 1885. A funeral notice is closest to the event and is the most likely of the three, but a death certificate would settle it; this archive does not edit the tree. Read it →

Family
The mark describes the person, not the link. Of the 20 relatives drawn here, 0 have a document of their own in this archive — but that is not the same as a document tying them to this person. This archive holds no separate proof for most parent–child links; where it does, the note above this chart says so in words.

Where this sits in the family
Not on the direct line. They are published because they belong to one of the eight surnames this archive follows.
The register spells this surname more than one way, and the search folds the forms together — so Xubrinich and Žubrinić, Joannis and Ivan, find each other.

An online family tree is a witness, not a source. Where a citation points at a parish register or a FamilySearch image, that is the thing worth going to. Sources →
